i'm back || blog name change

Yes, the girl is back. I've missed you all so so so so so much. Missed seeing your sweet comments, missed posting, missed being in synch with blogger-dom. Missed pretty much everything there is to miss. I've become more attached to blogging than I realized.

But yes, I'm finally back. With lots o' changes. First of which is...the blog name. Yep. I'm changin' it.

To abigail anne.
When I was on break, I got to thinking (no, really?) and as I lay in bed one night, at around 1:00 am it struck me.

I don't want to live off the sidewalk anymore.

Before anyone goes "whaaaa?" let me try to explain.

I have been saying ever since I started this blog that I don't want to be "normal."

And that is still true, I don't want to live the world's definition of normal.

But world's messed-up definition of normal aside, here's my thought: if every single person on this planet is unique, then there shouldn't be any such thing as "normal."

So, really, there is no such thing as living off the proverbial sidewalk because the sidewalk doesn't even exist.

Does that make any sense at all? Because if it doesn't then maybe I've been gone far too long. ;) Feel free to bombard me with questions.
Plus, abigail anne is so much shorter and more snappy than Where the Sidewalk Ends. See, it's a win-win all around.

I made a short playlist for you. Sort of a "hey peeps, sorry for abandoning you all month, here's some pretty songs" kind of thing. It's a bit of a slower playlist, but it's so full of life.
And while we're being random, I would like to now stop and give thanks to the Hunger Games books, the only thing that kept me from checking blogger every five minutes while I was in blogging withdrawals the first week of my break. Amen.

I'm so glad to be back y'all. I've missed every single one of you something awful.

xoxo,
--Abi

when you said you were the photographer at the afhe homeschool convention, did you mean you had a booth, or that you took pictures for the newsletter?
