the olympics + a recipe

I don't know if you watch the Olympics, but I get so excited when they happen.

I love the Olympics. Especially gymnastics and swimming.
My family likes to celebrate the Olympics with a host-country-themed dinner. This year, we got pasties from the Cornish Pasty Company, and we made our own British chips.
Want to be like the Brits and make some fries? Here's how we did it:

chips:

4 large baking potatoes
olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
dash cayenne pepper

Pierce potatoes and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or until still firm but almost tender. Cut into wedges; place on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Drizzle wedges with olive oil; sprinkle with salt, garlic salt and cayenne. Bake at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and relatively.

Enjoy. And be prepared to double this recipe. It disappears fast y'all.

I competed gymnastics till level 8, so obviously gymnastics is my favorite sport to watch. Oh how i love it. Go Gabby and Jordyn! whoop whoop!

  7. I prefer the East Indian accent but British and Australian are tied for a close second place.
