journaling, sunsets, and other miscellany

I'm am getting ready for fall. Even though I live in a state where the closest we get to fall is about two trees turning color, the thought of fall kills me dead. At least we get good sunsets in the fall. Our sunsets are getting more beautiful every night. I take way too many pictures of the sun. It's embarrassing.

In other news, I've really gotten into creating collages of pictures in my journal. I found an old travel magazine...and the rest is history. Also, I am starting to write poetry. Poetry is not my area of expertise, so, um, yeah. But I enjoy it, and I might even put some on here if I get the courage to do it.

Also, I'm going to be out of town the next week. Are there 3-4 lovely people who would like to guest post? You can send me your e-mail in a comment (which won't be published) and I will send you all the details of when to post, etc.

xo

P.S. By the way, I have had several people asking me if I put my e-mail on my blog. Right now, my parents have asked me not to put my e-mail anywhere on the internet for safety reasons. I always want to chat and hear your thoughts though. If you want to get in touch with me without giving me your e-mail, (which I completely understand) comments/twitter is the best way. However, if you leave me your e-mail address in a comment, I promise that I will never publish that comment, and I will e-mail you ASAP.

Thanks for understanding. :)

  1. I'm looking forward to fall too! It's my favorite season. Don't feel embarrassed about your taking lots of pictures of the sun. ;D I take tons of pictures of the sky too. haha

I just started writing poetry again too! It's not my expertise either, but I want to try to get better. I would love to read some of your poetry!

    Blessings!

  3. the idea of autumn gives me chills. but not the bad kind - the kind you get when you take a bite of delectable chocolate, or hear a cheesy song.
also, that sunset is gorgeous. i'm missing all the beautiful sunsets here in iowa, so don't stop taking pictures of the sun ;)
