on a hot muggy morning on the first of september, we somehow managed to get out the door to head to the farmer's market. beautiful local tomatoes, squash, potatoes, onions, and peppers screamed my name from every corner, not to mention jams, jellies, butters, cheeses, and breads! even though it's still miserably hot and muggy here, somehow the thought of a farmer's market drives away the heat and makes it almost unnoticeable.

Farmer's markets are so much fun. I remember going to them every summer with my mom before they were cool ;) Which reminds me that we should probably make a trip to our's soon as our garden has decided it is finished for the year and we are left vegitables-less.
